ABIGAIL ROBERTSON
MARRIAGE & FAMILY THERAPY
Hello, I’m Abigail.
I’m a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California.
I am so grateful that you are here, as I know that seeking out support can be a vulnerable thing to do.
As a therapist, I am passionate about providing people with a warm and safe space where they can be seen in their light and allowed room to explore their most authentic selves. I believe each of us has a light within us that has the ability to shine even in the most dire of times, but sometimes we may feel detached from this lightness. I believe a safe environment can be supportive for connecting to, nurturing and re-brightening this light, and this is what I hope to offer in my work.
I engage in this work with a deep care for humanity and respect for the resilience of the human-spirit. As someone who has used therapy as a tool for my own healing and growing connection to my most authentic self, I deeply value your desire to explore deeper into yourself and I look forward to being a part of your journey.
My Approach
I approach my role as a therapist with a client-centered, trauma-informed and integrative lens where I incorporate insight and interventions from somatic, mindfulness and attachment based perspectives.
My work is rooted in the belief that you are the expert in your own life. Through our therapeutic relationship I can support you to grow more trusting in yourself and provide a container for you to begin or continue in your healing journey.
I aim to be non-judgemental, direct, and self-reflective as we work together. I encourage you to discuss with me anything not feeling right for you in our work together and in collaboration we can explore how to best meet your therapeutic needs.
